    Describe yourself as a child

Looking back at our own childhood can be a fun thing to do for some of us. Reminiscing through the years, how would you describe yourself as a child. I have to say that I was an introvert as a child.  I was self-conscious, overweight, wore glasses and had very frizzy red hair. I was creative, bookish, compassionate, loyal, kind, witty. I wasn’t the first one asking for people to play with me, I was the last one picked for school teams and I rarely spoke up/participated in class. I can remember one day, in fifth grade social studies, the teacher asked a question.  I raised my hand, he called…

Is there somewhere you’ve vacationed that you’d like to return to?

Vacation. Getting away from it all and simply enjoy your days, see some new things, make some new memories.  Our query today – is there a vacation spot that you would like to return to ? I can honestly say that most places I have vacationed are places I would return to.  I loved the resort in Mexico where my every whim was catered to and I did nothing more than read, swim, eat and relax.  I am thinking that I could replicate that experience anywhere they offer an inclusive package and I would not notice too much of a difference. A revamped Political system – one that abolishes corruption. See what I mean about pie-in-the-sky?  Oh and while we are at it – No more hunger, poverty, violence, More pie-in-the-sky ideas. So I will just head back to my own corner of the world and do the next right thing – it’s all we can each do.  My immediate reaction to this was to start talking about kindness, loving one another and the Golden…

Did you have a favorite sport growing up?

Sports – all around us. We grew up with exposure to them and if we were lucky, to winning professional teams. Some of us played sports, others were cheering from the sidelines and still others of us had no interest at all.  Where did you fall? Did you have a favorite sport growing up? Ahhh.  Sports. I hated sports growing up.  And maybe because I did, I in turn was not good at them. At all. In junior high, I have two vivid memories of me in sports.  Once was falling face first from the uneven bars in gym and the other was falling off the ropes that we were…

What would you buy if money were no object?

Money. Purchases. Wishes. Dreams. Here we ask, if you did not have to worry about how much something cost, what would you buy? I have many a notebook page filled with the answer to this question over the years.  I love a good wish-brainstorm session and a large lottery opportunity usually prompts one of these for me.  The possibility of a large sum of money just waiting to be spent delights me and it does not take long before my page is full of wishes.  Looking back, my wants are pretty much the same regardless of the year – here let’s try it, as if I won the lottery. I…
