    What are your favorite Trick or Treat memories?

    Most of us have participated in trick or treating as children all dressed up and excitedly running from place to place. Then we were teenagers, having to give up the tradition of candy gathering. Then we may have watched our own children follow in our footsteps and possibly our grandchildren. We are going to be talking today about our very favorite Trick or Treat memory.     What job taught you the most about yourself as a person?

    Jobs. We have all had them, some we liked, some we hated, some we just tolerated. But this question is about the job that taught us most about ourselves. My gap year. The one where I worked as an order picker in a clothing company. The one where my ideas on how to do my job better were greeted with disdain and sarcasm. The one where I realized that I needed a job where I could use my brain, one that afforded variety, one where I would have the opportunity to voice my opinion/ideas and script the work I would be doing.     What TV show is really dumb but you like it anyway?

    TV. Some people have them on all the time, some do not have them on at all. Wondering which category you fall into? Here we will be talking about a TV show that sounded really dumb but you ended up liking anyway. I fall into the latter category above. I rarely have my TV on.  I would rather listen to music. I do however, watch an occasional movie on RedBox or NetFlix. And every once in a great while, someone will mention a series that sounds interesting.     We are back……

    Life changes in an instant. 2019 taught us that in a big way and we went into a blog hiatus for a few months. 2020 brought all sorts of new challenges and once again threw us a huge curveball.  More directly, it threw Ellen the curveball when a car crossed the middle line and hit the car she was driving head on.    Life changes in an instant. A moment which is then suspended in time.
